7 QUICK USES OF BAKING SODA



Baking soda can do a lot more than just fluff up your cakes. It can be used for cleaning the house, to healing sunburns, detoxing and skin cleansing. What else? It can be used to make a homemade deodorant and DIY toothpaste. This multitasking agent can go fill your home with a refreshing fragrance and also heal wounds. It's cheap, natural and non-toxic ans is the perfect solution to your daily worries. Here are some great used of baking soda:


Brighten up your dull floor by dissolving 1/2 cup baking soda in a bucket of warm water. This will give your floor a new look.


To get instant relief from bug bites and sunburns, mix it with a little water and apply.


To make fluffier omelette, just add 1/2 tsp baking soda to the eggs while beating them. 

You can even extinguish fire with it, because when baking soda is heated, it release carbon-dioxide, which helps over power the flames. This however, cannot be used to extinguish huge fires and is only helpful at initial stage.

Clean all your dirty hair brushes and combs by soaking them in a mixture of 1 tsp baking soda and a small amount of warm water. Let them dry completely before use.

Whiten your teeth with baking soda by swishing it in your mouth with water 15 minutes or use it as a replacement of  your toothpaste, after all, who doesn't need a thousand-watt smile!

Get rid of dead skin cells and welcome to total skin rejuvenation process by using 3 tsp baking soda with 1 tsp water. Apply gently with your fingertips in a circular motion, and rinse with cold water.
