NECK PAIN COULD AFFECTS WOMEN MORE THAN MEN


shedding new light on how differently men and women experience pain researchers , including one 

of Indian -  origin, have  found that women are 1,38 times more likely than men to report neck pain 

due to cervical degenerative disc disease, a common cause. symptoms including stiff or inflexible 

neck, burning, tingling and numbness. various explanations have been proposed including hormonal 

difference and the belief that men may be less willing to report pain. the study which included 3,337 

patients being treated at Loyola's pain management centre, was presented at the annual meeting of the

the american academy of pain medicine in California , USA.
